I love french fries and especially if it is sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, french fries that are found in grocery store in the frozen section are not the best because they are made with cheap oils (peanut, soy, corn) and they contain unnecessary ingredients such as starches, gums etc. But the good news is, sweet potato fries is really easy to make and so much better for us!

Sweet potatoes are a great source of vitamin A, vitamin C, and B6. They are also a good source of fiber and not as high in carbs like the regular potato.

2 medium sweet potatoes

1 tsp of chili powder

1/2 tsp of pink salt

1/2 tsp of garlic powder

1/8 cup of avocado or olive oil


Wash the potatoes, dry with paper towel and cut in equal wedges.

Mix all the spices and rub the potatoes with; add the oil and mix well.

Roast at convect bake at 425 for 15 min on one side, flip over and leave for another 5 minutes.

Cool the sweet potato on the wire rack and serve at room temperature with your favorite dipping sauce. My go to is simple mix if plain greek yogurt and Sriracha!
